The Correctional Library Support Program's (CLSP) mission is to support correctional librarians at Illinois facilities.
We recognize the importance of the role of the librarian in correctional facilities. It is our aim that by assisting the librarian with library programming and professional development, we help lay the groundwork for the successful re-entry for justice-involved individuals.

What we do:
We affirm and support the role of the correctional librarian in correctional facilities by:
- Providing financial and organizational support for library programming inside facilities
- Facilitating book groups
- Offer training and professional development opportunities for correctional librarians
